- We are officially a 1 animal house, and it’s about the weirdest thing I can possibly imagine.
- We sign our lease today…. TODAY!
- Sunday, at church, they have a testimony time every week and although I rarely ever get up to say something, I felt like I just needed to this week.
- I was talking about how we just see God in all the details of this move, and how it’s just really cool to feel his love like we do right now.
- While I was talking, a lady texted my friend Courtenay and asked if we needed help moving. Then she put together a moving party of guys WHO DON’T EVEN KNOW US… and they’re going to be here Friday to help us start moving.
- Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?
- Have I mentioned how much I love our new church? I mean, seriously. There are so many ridiculously awesome things about this church, I don’t even know where to start. But, the way they love their church family is beyond amazing.
- I should probably write a blog post about how Zoe is reacting to this move, and I will… as soon as I see how she settles into the new place.
- Monday, she wasn’t doing too great. After saying goodbye to Hemmingway and then the cats, I’m afraid she thought that either Brad or I were next. It wasn’t fun.
- Tuesday morning, we took a break from packing just to reset our nerves. Sometimes you have to do that… even in the middle of a whirlwind.
- Did I mention that in the middle of moving/unpacking I also have a doctors appointment on Friday and another one on Monday? Talk about crazy!
- I saw dolphins at the beach last week. Did I ever mention that? It’s the first time in my life I’ve ever seen dolphins at the beach.
- Every single time I go to the beach, I pray to see dolphins.
- We are way ahead of our packing schedule. And, by “way ahead” I probably mean “right on track”… but when you kinda expect to be behind, right on track feels way ahead.
- It’s amazing what 2 hours of packing every day can accomplish. Slow and steady wins the race.
- Today, Laura is coming over and we’re packing up the kitchen, it’s the last thing to do before we start to move tomorrow.
- On that note, Zoe and I are going to get out of the house for a bit and head to the gym.
Happy Thursday Ya’ll!
