{Believe me when I tell you there’s like 100 other pictures from the aquarium… some are better, but I was kinda rushing. Ps… don’t you just LOVE the sea horse? He was my favorite}

{That’s Ky in the baseball hat at the poker table, and the bottom right picture is Dave and Joy. Did I mention that not only was Dave my mentor, but he also married Brad and I? Love that guy.}

{Lauren and AM from Talk of the Trains!!!! Loved hanging out with them, and could have hung out even longer! AM and Zoe? Yeah, they’re best friends, obviously, they had a blast playing together. Oh, and Zoe was giving her a hug and they toppled over… which is why it looks like my daughter is tackling her new best friend. Kids. I just love them!}

The Highlight Reel

Rather than take you step by step through our weekend, let me just take you through the highlight reel.

** 6:30am on Thursday morning after my worst day of pregnancy yet, my wonderful, amazing, self sacrificing husband in his sleepy stupor packed his back and made a spontaneous decision to come with me so that I wouldn’t have to make the drive myself. If it’s remotely possible, I fell in love with him even more.

** Zoe did freaking amazing on the drives, both there and back. Couldn’t have asked for a better performance from that girl.

** Seeing one of my best friends face for 4 straight days.

** Not getting sick one time on Thursday. Thank you God.

** Getting a few hours to hang out with my old boss/mentor Dave and his daughter/my friend Joy.

** Hanging out with Jon and Heather.

** The Georgia Aquarium {Zoe with the fish was the highlight, the Aquarium itself was not my favorite… at all}

** Meeting Lauren and little AM from Talk of the Trains…. way way way awesome!

** Watching Ky in a performance for the first time. It wasn’t her first production, but it was the first time that I was able to see her.

** A very lazy day on Saturday, hanging out with friends and just having a great time. Eventually, we strolled down to the river and hung out a bit. Heaven.

** Dreaming with Brad about our future.

** Waking up this morning, sick over the toilet, and realizing that my amazing, wonderful, servant-hearted husband had unpacked my bag, washed all of my clothes, and put evertyhing

Side note, I tried to get pictures up here and it really isn’t working, so tomorrow will be pictures from the trip.
